“With a diverse background in arts administration and event coordination, Alexia Wixom has honed a unique blend of skills through various roles in the music industry. As an Artist Liaison Intern at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI), Alexia Wixom served as the primary day-to-day resource for musicians, artists, and guests, skillfully managing schedules, coordinating travel, and ensuring smooth event execution. Her role involved overseeing logistics and communication between administration, faculty, and artists, and she played a crucial part in managing the first ever Community Day project at BUTI.

Currently, Alexia Wixom is enhancing her expertise as the Social Media and Event Coordinator for the Texas Chamber Music Institute. Here, she excels in creating engaging content, managing social media schedules, and coordinating concert programs and logistics.

Recognized for her dedication and excellence, Alexia Wixom has graduated from Texas Christian University with Departmental Honors and awarded distinctions such as being on the TCU Dean’s List.
