At NTXSO, we believe music education is crucial for developing minds. Young children have the chance to learn a “new language” as music itself has its own interpretation. It starts by simply listening to varieties of music. Directors of music programs work tirelessly to make sure that these students start on a solid foundation for the future of their music career. NTXSO provides a place for high school, college, and music hobbyists to have a place to play and continue to grow in music. 

There are numerous living composers in the world today, working endlessly to bring music that will touch the hearts or souls of others. These composers are found all over the world, and some of them are right here in the area! We want to celebrate those composers by performing and/or premiering these works. This is to show our appreciation to them, and all that they contribute to the world of music.

The community and NTXSO relationship is extremely important to us. We want to work with other individuals and groups in the community, as we see it's important to not tear other organizations down but help each other build up. The community is the heartbeat and rhythm of the NTXSO. Without you, we would not be able to share what we love and that is making music together.

We are dedicated to work with other organizations and businesses. We believe that in doing so, we are not only offering them a place in our programs, but we get to offer the community with free concerts and a place to learn more about music and the cultures the music came about from. Partnerships help other groups as well as our own with networking opportunities, advertising, community relationships, and much more.
